Sheer Curtain is a photo series centered around bringing awareness to bisexual/pansexual/queer invisibility and/or erasure. As a whole, this means the hurt, discrimination, and frequent invalidation of bisexuals, pansexuals, and queer-identifying individuals experience in both the LGBQT community as well as the heterosexual community. The photos included a collection of individuals who identify with the labels bisexual, queer, and pansexual. The individuals are layered with a semi-translucent sheet of different textures to represent the curtain society has shrouded over them.
Drawing question to the invalidation of those who don't align with gay or straight.
To stop the erasure, it must be acknowledged.
